Then we’ve got the USB cable that plugs into the unit. Next are the frame ‘cases’, I’ll dive into these a bit more later – but essentially they’re brilliant. And finally to the far right is a new low-profile adapter for the Hero4 Session to keep it lower to a helmet. While the one in the middle is a new ball-joint mount that rotates around and locks in place. The one to the left is the most common one you’ve seen on past GoPro units. One sticky mount is flat, the other curved (for helmets). Then we’ve got the sticky mounts and previously noted box plate mount.

Whether you scan a QR Code from a laptop screen or a mobile phone, the code should be a minimum 1.5”/40cm in size with the camera about 6”/15cm away. The camera will remain on for 30 seconds, plenty of time to scan your QR Code. The menu will function normally, but within a moment or two it will display “QR Ready”. Boot the camera with the menu button, then press the menu button again when the screen turns on.
